Job Details Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 07/13/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities Operate fluoroscopic equipment and assist physicians with minimally invasive image‑guided procedures. Prepare patients, observe them during the procedure, and report abnormal findings. Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain procedures to patients. Assist in scrubbing for all diagnostic and interventional procedures. Monitor patient throughout all procedures. Maintain thorough knowledge of radiation protection standards and ensure adequate safeguards for patients and operators. Apply knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology to interpret examination requests accurately. Operate intravenous and dye injector pumps. Maintain accurate patient records. Use the McKesson PACS system. Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of recent acute care experience. BLS, ACLS, and ARRT (R) National Certification; state‑specific licensing when required. Vascular Interventional certificate preferred. Capability to stand, walk, bend, lean, or stoop for long periods without difficulty. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Job ID #1439326.
