Position Description
Employees in this job function are responsible for translating desired business capabilities into technical solutions.
- Responsible for application design, installation, configuration, and development support activities for: B2Bi applications, Web applications, Mainframe applications
- Demonstrate a strong level of expertise in one or more technical environments, including software packages, programming languages, databases, operating systems
- Maintain a solid knowledge of EDI solutions
- Own the quality of solutions across each environment and for each trading partner
- Coordinate with related workstreams and teams, including infrastructure teams, Ford Customer Service Division, Manufacturing teams
- Perform systems tuning and diagnostics across UNIX, Linux, Windows platforms
Core Experience
- 5+ years of experience across a wide range of supply chain management business areas, including system development, business intelligence, business processes, customer relations
- 5+ years of experience with Enterprise Application Integration, Middleware, other integration technologies
- 5+ years of experience with architecture diagrams, sequence diagrams, UML diagrams, network connectivity, communication protocols
- Proficiency with EDI mapping tools, ANSI X12, EDIFACT, UNIX, Linux, Windows, SQL Server, MQ Series
Skills Required

Experience Required
- Senior Associate level with 6–10 years of overall IT experience
- 4+ years of focused experience in Solution Architecture, Unix, Network Protocols & Standards, Session Initiation Protocols, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), EDI mapping tools
Experience Preferred
- Familiarity with Web applications, Mainframe applications, Mainframe Systems
Education Required
- Bachelor's Degree
