Project Manager – Healthcare & Commercial Construction

Location: Blue Island, IL
Salary: $100K–$130K + Bonus + Benefits

ParkerBeth Search Partners is recruiting on behalf of a well-established general contractor with a strong reputation across healthcare, commercial, industrial, and specialty construction 
projects throughout the Chicagoland area. 

We're looking for an experienced Project Manager who can independently lead projects from preconstruction through closeout. The ideal candidate has a strong healthcare construction 
background, experience managing ground-up and renovation projects, and understands what it takes to successfully coordinate field operations, subcontractors, schedules, and budgets.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage projects from estimating and preconstruction through final closeout
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost controls
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, superintendents, and field personnel
• Review and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, contracts, and project 
  documentation
• Lead project meetings and serve as the primary point of contact for clients and project 
  stakeholders
• Monitor project progress to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and within 
  budget
• Support project buyout, procurement, and subcontractor management activities

• Industrial and manufacturing facilities
• Food manufacturing and cold storage projects

What You’ll Get:

• Base salary from $100K–$130K DOE
• Biannual profit-sharing bonus based on company-wide performance
• $500/month car allowance + $75 phone stipend
• 4 weeks PTO + paid holidays
• 100% employer-paid health coverage (individual)
• 401K with up to 3% match after 6 months 

What You’ll Need:

• 7-10 years of Project Management experience in commercial construction
• Healthcare construction experience required.
• Ground-up construction experience required.
• Strong experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to independently manage budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships.
• Experience with food manufacturing or cold storage facilities is a plus.
• Trade background strongly preferred, ideally someone who began their career as a carpenter.
• Must reside within approximately 30 minutes of Blue Island, IL.
