Private Pay Collections Specialist

Northwest Respiratory Services (NRS), a leading provider of oxygen & respiratory products throughout the Midwest & Northern Rockies, is looking for an experienced Private Pay Collections Specialist for our main office located in Eagan, MN. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned): Work assigned reports, dashboards, and aging queues daily Manage AR of private pay accounts across all aging buckets (current, 30/60/90+ days) Within 24 hours (or otherwise timely manner): Make collection calls to patients and/or their families Respond to collection calls from patients and/or their families Identify correct responsible party, insurance and make corrects to invoices Work aged receivables Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies Meet individual and department goals Utilize Brightree software Requirements: 1-2 years of collections experience, preferably in DME/HME or medical Well versed in medical insurance and terminology Work individual feedback sessions, staff meetings and annual training and/or competency tests Self-directed and ability to work independently Dedicated: Devoted to a task or purpose with loyalty or integrity Detail Oriented: Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done well Team Player: Works well as a member of a group Goal Completion: Inspired to perform well by the completion of tasks Self-Starter: Inspired to perform without outside help Join our organization whose mission and specialty is fulfilling the respiratory health care needs of the community.
