Not only are you a highly qualified, motivated, self-starter; you work well with others, you seek solutions to challenges, and you are a proven leader.As the K-8 Grade Teacher, you will: Provide academic instruction aligned to Arizona State Standards.Prepare and deliver instruction appropriate to the grade level that includes different learning styles, abilities, and interests in accordance with state standards.Utilize school adopted systems of practice for curriculum, instruction, and assessment including, but not limited to: Beyond Textbooks, Spalding, data submission, and testing protocols.Prior knowledge of Spalding, and Beyond Textbooks, and data driven instruction a plus.Assess student progress towards learning targets, objectives, expectations, and/or goals for the purpose of providing feedback to students, parents/guardians, and administration.Use available technology to enhance student learning.Communicate learning goals to students and parents or guardians in a well-planned and organized manner.Use school and state assessment data to inform instruction.Establish classroom routines and procedures in a positive manner conducive to effective instruction.Effectively implement student goals outlined in 504 Plans and IEPs.Participate in grade level and/or school wide professional learning activities.Document and proactively attempt to resolve issues related to student behavior and/or attendance.Reflect continually on teaching and professional practice.Supervise classroom and/or other students in the school in adherence with state laws.Maintain accurate and complete student records as required by the school and law.Participate in school-wide events, scheduled meetings, and parent conferences.Perform other job duties as assigned.
