Position Summary Do you have a knack for helping people, following recipes, and organization? Our prepared meal and rotisserie chicken associates prepare fresh food items daily for our members through following recipes and preparing our always warm and ready rotisserie chicken. We’ll also count on you to properly wrap, label, and store merchandise to ensure our members have the freshest items available to take home to their families. There are times when you will juggle several tasks in a short amount of time while helping members with their bakery orders. Your smile can make the difference between a good shopping experience and a great one. You won’t just prepare fresh food—you’ll help a family have a great meal. What You Will Do Be a Team Member: maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborate with cross‑functional teams and help educate other associates on tools, tasks and resources; communicate effectively; and be flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas. Be an Expert: prepare food according to item specifications; understand and plan future productions and mass productions; prepare for seasonality; adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, inventory management; operate, maintain, and sanitise equipment; demonstrate an understanding of product and layout execution. Be a Techie: leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; use hand‑held technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training and product quality; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them. Responsibilities Ensuring high‑quality products are available in our prepared foods area. Ensuring shelves are clean, maintaining temperature control, verifying expiration dates, and disposing of lesser‑quality food products. Preparing and serving ready‑to‑eat food. Maintaining the Sales Floor in accordance with Company policies and procedures by properly handling claims and returns, zoning the area, arranging and organising merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages. Maintaining a clean, sanitized, and member‑ready area. Key Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older. Experience with fresh food preparation and following recipes. Passion for and experience with fresh food. Focus on member satisfaction. Solution‑seeker and innovator who tackles obstacles head‑on. Comfortable with change and quickly adapts to different work scenarios. Food Service experience (preferred). Food Handler Certification (Food Safety) – preferred. Ability to comply with drug‑free workplace policy. Compensation & Benefits The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00 per hour, with the actual hourly rate equal to or exceeding the applicable minimum wage. Additional premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour under specific circumstances. Benefits include: Health: medical, vision, and dental coverage.
