Description:
The position involves working as a CT Technologist specializing in computed tomography.
The work schedule is from 6 PM to 6 AM with weekends as needed.
The department operates one scanner with an average of 10 to 25 scans or studies performed per day.
Common types of imaging and studies performed include regular CTs, trauma, and stroke assessments.
The technologist will not be required to float to other areas or start IVs.
The departmental equipment includes a Siemens Somatom Xcite, a new platform.
The team does not utilize Registered Radiology Assistants.
The facility does not have in-house radiologists.
There are no call or standby requirements for this position.
The dress code requires professional colors for scrubs, which are not provided.
The hospital can cancel up to four shifts during a 13-week assignment and three shifts for shorter assignments.
The charting system used is EPIC.
This position requires effective communication skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently.
