TICU Nurse Manager

Job Summary As the Critical Care Nurse Manager, you will ensure high quality, patient‑centered care through oversight of daily functions, staffing, and quality outcomes. Key Responsibilities Operationalize evidence‑based practices to enhance patient safety and quality outcomes. Apply knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, and treatment appropriate to patient ages. Oversee staffing needs and personnel management, including interviewing, hiring, and training new staff. Provide leadership, coaching, and counseling to department employees. Maintain workflow, ensure proper staff levels, and coordinate unit activities including safety procedures, unit goals, and department operations. Handle patient, visitor, or physician complaints promptly and professionally. Collaborate with other disciplines and departments to improve patient care delivery. Qualifications Associate’s Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred. Current RN licensure in Tennessee or a compact state required. At least 1 year of related clinical leadership experience. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.
