Join us.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a results-driven Senior Transportation Project Manager to support the delivery of complex roadway and infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for a technically strong professional who thrives in a project leadership capacity—guiding project execution, shaping teams, and building strong client partnerships. The ideal candidate has experience in urban and highway design and brings a proven ability to lead projects from concept through delivery while ensuring quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the planning, design, and delivery of transportation and roadway projects from inception through completionManage project scope, schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure successful and timely executionPlay an active role in project team selection and coordination, aligning the right technical expertise with project needsDevelop, review, and oversee roadway design plans, specifications, and technical documentationProvide technical leadership and problem-solving throughout all phases of design and deliveryServe as a key point of contact for clients, fostering strong relationships and ongoing engagementCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams across engineering disciplines to ensure integrated project deliveryEnsure compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and best practicesSupport proposal development, scope definition, and cost estimatingQualificationsMinimum:Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field10 years of transportation roadway design or related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.Professional Engineer (PE) licensePreferred:Experience in transportation engineering and roadway designExperienced in managing infrastructure projects with increasing responsibilityExperience leading and coordinating teams of technical engineersExperience with Florida DOT highway design standardsExperience in project management of transportation projects.Experience in collaborating across teams and engaging with clientsAdditional InformationRelocation is an option for this position Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this positionAt AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
