Registered Nurse - Med Surg Telemetry

Location: Biddeford, ME

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with Med Surg Telemetry experience to provide exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will work 36 hours weekly, providing care in a 56-bed unit with a focus on general medical surgical telemetry patients.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver patient-centered nursing care in accordance with established protocols.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting changes and communicating with the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Participate in care planning and promote patient education.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of Med Surg Telemetry experience.
• Active Maine RN License.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
