As a Zscaler Engineer, you can identify the tools needed to assess vulnerabilities and recommend the best solution and security strategy. We need your experience to lead the development and implementation of security solutions that will protect our nation's national security.

On our team, you'll troubleshoot and analyze complex challenges for customers using your knowledge of network and security devices. You'll use your curiosity for technology and market trends to further research and develop security solutions. Using your knowledge and experience in Zscaler, you'll assess security threats and implement infrastructure controls.

You Have:

• 5+ years of experience with network engineering or network security engineering
• 1+ years of experience deploying Zscaler, including ZIA, ZPA, and ZDX
• Experience with integration of security tools to provide data enrichment or expand capabilities
• Knowledge of cryptography protocols and standards, including TLS, mTLS, hashing algorithms, and Public Key Infrastructure
• Knowledge of federal compliance standards, including NIST 800-53, FIPS, DoD STIG, and FedRAMP
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with Office 365 applications and Teams collaboration and interacting with tools through RDP, web-based UI, SSH, and CLI
• Knowledge of authentication and identity concepts
• Knowledge of Linux or UNIX environments, including navigating and troubleshooting basic OS issues
• Knowledge of networking protocols, including BGP, OSPF, SD-WAN, and L2 protocols
• Knowledge of core Zero T rus t concepts and met hodologies
• Ability to comprehend how various systems interact with each other
• CCNA, CCNP, JN CIA , or JNCP Certification
• Zscaler Certification

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
