ARMStaffing is looking for a Respiratory Therapist, RRT (Day Shift) in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Location: Tulsa, OK
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule/Shift: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (06:30 - 19:00).
Job Description
The Respiratory Therapist will provide care to patients in a 500-bed hospital with specialized units, including a Burn ICU and Cardiac ICU. Responsibilities include assisting with intubation/extubation, tracheostomy care, and administering various respiratory therapies. The successful candidate will be familiar with the Epic charting system and will work collaboratively with interdisciplinary support services.
Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care to adults and geriatric patients.
- Assist with intubation and extubation procedures.
- Manage tracheostomy care and ventilation settings.
- Administer medications and respiratory therapies as prescribed.
- Perform arterial blood gas draws and interpretation.
- Participate in pulmonary hygiene and chest physiotherapy.
- Utilize Epic for patient charting and documentation.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care.
Required Experience
Minimum of 1 year of experience in an ICU setting. Previous charge experience is not required.
Certifications/Licensure
- Current BLS certification.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required.
- ACLS certification required.
- NRP and PALS certifications preferred.
