RVC, an 80-bed facility, offers a complete continuum of care, from medical detox and inpatient treatment to outpatient care and aftercare. Our care team of doctors, clinicians, counselors and addiction professionals at The Recovery Village Columbus Drug and Alcohol Rehab use their years of experience to provide high-quality and compassionate care to those seeking recovery.Take the first step toward making a difference and saving lives.The Registered Nurse performs a wide variety of job duties during a shift, caring for and educating patients about their medical and psychiatric conditions. Establishing trust and building rapport with patients and their families are key elements of this position.Job Duties:Provide compassionate care and support to patients seeking addiction and mental health treatmentMonitor patient progress and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create individualized care plansAbility to administer medications as indicated and monitor detoxification process.Ability to assess the medical and psychiatric needs of the patient determine the urgency of their needs and expedite treatment is required.Ability to educate patients about medications, health issues and medical conditions.Schedule: 12-hour shiftsUrgently Hiring: Days (7a-7p)Minimum Associate's Degree in Nursing; Bachelor's Degree preferred.Minimum two years' experience as a Registered Nurse preferred.Behavioral health experience preferred.Licensed to practice in the State of licensure (RN), active and in good standing requiredOther Titles: Detox Nurse, Addiction Nurse, Substance Abuse Nurse, Psych Nurse, Behavioral Health Nurse, Chemical Dependency NursePay: Starting rate $38/hr, based on experience.Enjoy discounted meal benefits as part of your comprehensive employee packageThe Company complies with state and federal nondiscrimination laws and policies that prohibit discrimination based on age, color, disability, national origin, race, religion, or sex.
