ID: 77720122 Shift: 10H Days 4X10s (Either 0700-1730 or 0730-1800 based on shift need) plus call; Call shifts average 4- Description: Unit Notes:**Needing an IR RN or will consider an ICU RN with IR Experience**MUST HAVE NEURO IR EXPERIENCEMedical Solutions Pre-Screens and manager will call for a 2nd interview or offer off of notes and profile.**LEVEL I TRAUMA EXPERIENCE REQUIRED50 MILE RADIUS RULE, NO LOCAL RATES, DL IS SOURCE OF TRUTHmust pass dysrhythmia exam prior to acceptance, traveler has 2 attempts. if failed, RN will be DNU within CS AZ and Sac Region*Travel Teams must have their own vehicles*must have natural hair color and no facial piercings*men must clean shave for fit test*pass fail exam on day 1 of orientation - details to followDAY 1 PASS FAIL SIMs Lab: All RNs will be expected to complete SIMs Lab for Foley catheter insertion & central line dressing changes, with the exception of NyICU & ED. NyICU only has to do Foley catheter insertion. ED does Foley catheter insertion but does port-a-cath insertion instead of central line dressing change. This is for travelers going to St. Joseph main campus &/or St. Joseph Westgate campus. NOTE - SIMs lab is pass/fail & nurses have been termed during SIMs Lab for breaking sterile field. Those travelers that understand sterile field typically pass SIMs Lab skills (See separate notes for the specific checklist IF traveler asks for additional details). The hospital expects that every nurse is competent in these areas, especially maintaining sterile field, as these are nursing skills that are performed frequently. NOTE: if a candidate indicates that they are not competent in either of these areas, they are probably not a good fit. In addition to SIMs Lab, they will also go through lifts, restraints, & wound care, but these are just educational based since the equipment & policies can be different facility to facility. Radiology Pre and Post Procedural area needs an RN with Pre op/PACU experience/ICU experience. BLS, ACLS, and PALS too if possible. pre op and recovery of patients post conscious sedation and general anesthesia. 10 hour shifts, Monday-Friday either 0700-1730 or 0730-1800 based on shift need# of Rooms5 Angio rooms, 2 CT scanners, US, Nuclear medicineCerts & LicensureBLS & ACLS.
