LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - Emergency - Nights

Employment Details Full-time , 12‑hour night shift, 3 shifts per week (7pm‑7am) at Mount Carmel St. Ann’s Emergency Department. Every third weekend and rotating holidays. Position Purpose Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) within the scope of the Ohio Nurse Practice Act. Provide care sensitive to physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs. Work under the direction of a Registered Nurse, accountable for patient care using the Nursing Process. Responsibilities Provide nursing care and ensure patient safety. Promote evidence‑based practice and quality initiatives. Communicate clinical information to the patient care team. Keep patient and family informed and updated. Perform treatments and procedures per approved standards. Administer medications according to organization policies. Document accurately and completely per documentation standards. Direct unlicensed staff under RN supervision. Manage patient assignments effectively. Minimum Qualifications Graduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing. Current Ohio LPN license. Completed an approved pharmacology course with NAPNES, OOPNES, or Ohio Board of Nursing card. Completed LPN IV therapy course with certification.
