Job Title: Associate Attorney – General Liability Defense (Hybrid)
Location: Tallahassee, Florida (Hybrid Schedule)
Experience Level: 2–5+ Years
About the Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join a growing general liability defense practice in Tallahassee, Florida. This is a rare opportunity to work in a supportive, team-oriented environment with a flexible hybrid schedule , allowing you to maintain strong work-life balance while developing your litigation skills.
What You’ll Do
- Handle a caseload of general liability defense matters from inception through resolution
- Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery
- Take and defend depositions
- Attend hearings, mediations, and trials as needed
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients on case strategy
What We’re Looking For
- 2–5+ years of experience in general liability, insurance defense, or civil litigation
- Licensed and in good standing with the Florida Bar
- Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to manage cases independently while working within a team
