About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with United Health Care Staffing, Inc. to find a qualified PACU/Pre-Post Op RN in Roseburg, Oregon, 97470!

• Provide pre-operative (Pre-op) and post-anesthesia (PACU/Recovery Phase I & II) patient care , ensuring safe preparation and recovery of surgical patients.
• Monitor and assess patients by interpreting cardiac rhythms (EKG strips) and responding appropriately to any life-threatening changes.
• Assist in managing patients across a variety of surgical specialties including General, GYN, Orthopedics, ENT, Eyes, Podiatry, and Endoscopy cases .
• Collaborate with the healthcare team and support staff (MAs, RTs) to facilitate patient admissions, discharges, and continuity of care .
• Accurately document patient information using Meditech EMR and paper charting systems , ensuring compliance with clinical standards.
