RN Medicine Specialty - FSLocation: Oklahoma City, OK 73104 Duration: 13 weeks Shift/Schedule: Days; 3 × 12-hour shifts/week; 36 hours/weekJob Responsibilities:Provide nursing care to patients with health conditions ranging from simple to complex.Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients.Monitor and document patient responses to treatments and nursing interventions.Assist physicians with examinations, diagnostic procedures, and treatments.Monitor physiological data and intervene as needed.Administer medications, IV infusions, and blood products as prescribed.Provide competent patient care and communicate care plans with patients and families.Educate patients and families regarding hospital procedures and discharge care.Make appropriate patient-care referrals and delegate tasks to support staff.Perform other duties as assigned.Requirements:Minimum 1 year of nursing experience.Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.Current Oklahoma RN license or valid multistate compact RN license (eNLC).Current AHA BLS certification.Current AHA ACLS certification required.High-acuity Stepdown experience required.Medical-Surgical/Stepdown experience required.Tracheostomy care experience required.Epic EMR experience required.Preferences:ICU experience preferred.BSN or higher preferred.
