We’re going to skip the usual “caregiver job-posting language,” because YOU already know what caregiving is. Instead, I want to start by personally introducing myself: my name is Carly, and I am the owner of SYNERGY HomeCare of St. Charles.

You already know that caregiving can mean a lot of things. Overnight, it can mean helping someone get safely to the bathroom at 2 a.m., repositioning them so they're comfortable, calming them if they wake up confused or scared, and SO much more. You also know those small things can make ALL the difference in the world to someone. YOU are the important person who makes it possible for someone to stay in their own home, and lets their family sleep at night.

Because caregiving is such an important responsibility, I believe caregivers should be treated as members of our SYNERGY family. We're a locally owned home care company serving St. Charles, Lincoln and Warren Counties (we don't cross the river into STL). We are very intentional about who we hire and how we operate.

Our Scheduling Philosophy : We understand that schedules are not ‘one-size-fits-all’. Some caregivers want steady overnights every week, some want just a few, and some want overnights that work around a day job or school. We have a wide variety of shift options, and we match caregivers based on availability, experience, personality, and what the client actually needs.

Flexibility, however, is not the same thing as lack of accountability. Our clients are often older adults, people recovering from a hospital stay, people living with dementia, and families in high-acuity hospice situations. A call-off in home care is NOT like a call-off at a facility. It can mean a vulnerable person is suddenly left without any care.

About this position

• ➤ You would serve clients in the St. Charles and St. Peters area

• ☾ Overnight shifts (usually 7 p - 7 a, 8 p - 8 a, 9 p - 9 a), full-time or part-time

• ✚ Looking for experienced caregivers, CNAs, HHAs

  What overnight care means with us:

  • It means you stay awake and alert the entire shift. Sleeping on shift is not allowed.

  • It means you check on your client through the night and help with toileting, repositioning, and anything they need.

  • It means you keep the home safe and are ready to act if there's a fall or emergency.
