Job Description and Duties Under the clinical direction of the Chief Medical Executive and the direct administrative supervision of the Chief Support Executive or Correctional Health Services Administrator I/II, the Physical Therapist I, CF administers physical therapy treatments and active, passive, restorative, and resistive therapeutic treatment to patients in a correctional facility. The therapist interprets to patients the significance of physical therapy services, complies with all applicable state and federal laws and regulations and departmental policies, and maintains order, supervises the conduct of the incarcerated, and safeguards the safety of persons, property, and security of working areas and materials. Minimum Qualifications Possession of the legal requirements for the practice of physical therapy in California as determined by the California Medical Board.
