Senior Vice President of Development and Church Relations

Presbyterian Communities of South Carolina (PCSC) is seeking an accomplished, mission-driven leader to serve as Senior Vice President of Development and Church Relations —a newly created executive role reporting directly to the CEO.

PCSC is a compassionate Christian ministry dedicated to enriching the quality of life for seniors of all faiths, operating six Life Plan retirement communities across South Carolina. This role represents a significant investment in the growth and strategic impact of philanthropy across our organization.

✅ Shape and lead PCSC’s statewide philanthropic strategy

✅ Serve as the primary executive voice for fundraising and church relations

✅ Strengthen relationships with Presbyterian Church (USA) congregations and leaders

✅ Oversee the PCSC Foundation and collaborate closely with Boards and senior leadership

✅ Drive major gifts, planned giving, and long-term donor engagement

Who We’re Looking For

✔ Bachelor’s degree required

✔ Minimum five years of progressive fundraising or development experience, with planned giving preferred

✔ Demonstrated success working within faith-based or church-affiliated organizations

✔ Strategic, relationship-driven leader with excellent written and verbal communication skills

✔ Strong commitment to mission-centered work that advances meaningful, long-term impact
