Travel Physical Therapist - $2,704 per week

Job Overview MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapist in Waynesville, North Carolina. This is a 13‑week assignment (8‑hour shifts, 40 hours per week) starting on 06/08/2026. Responsibilities Assess referred patients requiring rehabilitation services. Provide direct patient care, assess medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations, and potential for rehabilitation. Establish and administer a treatment program with specific goals according to patient capacity and tolerance under physician direction. Set realistic and achievable goals for patients, document and record patient condition, and educate patients and families in appropriate physical therapy methods. Develop a plan of care for each patient and provide skilled physical therapy interventions per physician orders. Assess patient needs, plan, evaluate, and modify care to meet therapy goals. Collaborate with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient. Qualifications Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy or Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy with passing of the NPTEN. Graduated from an accredited school. Minimum one year of experience. Current state license as a Registered Physical Therapist (or in process of licensure). Current CPR certification. Familiarity with outpatient or inpatient PT practice.
