Sign-On Bonus for External applicants or current CHW MA Apprentice Students only About the Practice Our Neurosciences team consists of a driven group of physicians, advanced practice providers, clinical, and clerical support staff that support 5 different subspecialities including: Neurosurgery, Epilepsy, Neurovascular Stroke, General Neurology, and Movement Disorders. The providers in our practice provide both inpatient and outpatient care to patients and can be seen in the Operating Room (OR), Interventional Radiology (IR), and Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) in Butterworth Hospital. We emphasize strong teamwork, adaptability, and determination to provide exceptional patient care and positive experiences for our patients. Our team is full of talented individuals striving for efficient operations and mutual respect in the spirit of camaraderie. Our general Neurology team consists of several APPs, attending physicians, and residents acting as the ‘front door’ to Neurology care. This team often determines if patients need more granular Neurology care with a different subspecialty in our Neurosciences team or if care should continue with our General Neurology team.

Scope of work As a Medical Assistant with Corewell Health, you'll be a member of our clinical support team and work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of the best possible care. You'll be a vital part of our team, making a real difference in the lives of our patients. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Required Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program that includes hands-on, in-person clinical skills training OR a minimum of one (1) year of experience working specifically in the role of a Medical Assistant, LPN, Paramedic or EMT performing direct patient care and clinical support functions consistent with MA scope of practice Required 1 year of relevant experience in a physician practice or healthcare setting Preferred AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Required within 90 Days One of the following Required within 120 Days
