Solving Autism, LLC is actively seeking caring and energetic individuals in the Boone, NC area for Registered Behavior Technician roles! Our company provides ABA Therapy, with opportunities to work one on one with learners ages 2-21 helping them build skills that will help them gain independence for future success.

RBT's play a critical role in the lives of the children we serve! At Solving Autism, we take a whole-child approach to learning and skill-building. We utilize positive reinforcement techniques while incorporating a blend of natural environment teaching practices with more traditional discrete trial instruction methods. Additionally, RBT's play an important role in collecting data based on their time with the children. Training and on-going support is provided and is paid time.

Paid training is provided for candidates new to the field, and current RBT’s are always encouraged to apply. Our privately owned company takes pride in supporting learners and therapists throughout their ABA journey. Come join our team!

An ideal candidate will:

• Have experience working with children (with priority given to individuals with experience working in ABA, with learners having Autistic Spectrum Disorder, developmental disabilities or behavior challenges).

• Demonstrate strong communication skills and conduct themselves in a professional manner.

• Operate as a member of team.

• Have reliable transportation.

• Possess a sense of humor and a strong work ethic.

• Demonstrate skill in multi-tasking.

• Show flexibility in thinking and an open mind for continued learning.

• Be willing to commit to this role for at least six months.

• Complete and maintain First Aid and CPR certification (training provided).

• Complete RBT training (40 hours of on-line modules, paid training) and submit to the RBT exam.

This role is a great learning experience for students and professionals going into education, psychology or counseling roles. Scheduling and number of hours available are specific to each client. Pay rate is based upon experience.
