Data Analyst

Data Analyst (Securities Administration Services) --This is an Entry level role and they are looking for recent college graduates with some internship or very little experience.

Location: Columbia, MD (Hybrid) Pay Rate: $23.00/hour --Increase in pay rate once it goes perm. Duration: Temp to Hire

Role Overview: We are seeking an Analyst to join our Securities Administration Services group. In this role, you will manage transaction processing, credit risk duties, and data integrity for loan and security portfolios.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transaction Management: Process complex transactions, reconcilements, and loan/security payments.
• Compliance & Monitoring: Review servicer reports for accuracy and monitor pooled loans to ensure compliance with agreements.
• Data Analysis: Develop and manage tracking tools (EUCTs) using Advanced Excel and Access to translate legal contract terms into formulas.
• Legal Research: Interpret legal documents regarding collateral or bond payments.
• Communication: Liaison with investors and servicers regarding remittances and corrections.

Qualifications:

• Education/Experience: 1 year of experience in finance, accounting, or analysis; AND a Bachelor’s degree (Business, Finance, Econ or related fields)
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential; Basic Microsoft Access skills preferred.
• Core Skills: Strong mathematical and analytical skills with the ability to interpret legal documents.
• Preferred: Previous experience in Corporate Trust or Default/Servicing.
