An enjoyable variety of tasks makes a workday go by fast! Your day will include:

• Making an excellent first impression “at hello.”
• Talking with new patients and listening to their interests and needs.
• Tying together the patient’s wants and desires with the doctor’s recommended treatment path to educate the patient and remove all barriers to starting treatment.
• Working with co-workers to schedule and construct productive and well-coordinated days (we have great systems to help us run on time!)
• Explaining dental insurance benefits and limitations.
• Presenting payment options and problem-solving payment obstacles.
• Documenting conversations in the chart to keep all team members “in the know.”
• General admin tasks that support co-workers who are also supporting you!
• Extensive documentation and updating records.
• Running periodic reports for our practice manager.
• Bridging referrals with our dental specialists.
• Working closely with our Practice Manager and team to give 5-star service to our patients and support co-workers.

DENTAL EXPERIENCE IS NICE, BUT NOT REQUIRED. No doubt, prior dental experience is helpful to scale the learning curve, but it is not necessary to master this rewarding role. We value “the right person,” and many of our current team members gained their knowledge, skills and certifications “on-the-job” through their excellent comprehension and dedicated commitment to learn. 

What are the 10 key qualifications to apply?

1.     Candidates with a bachelor’s degree or completion of foundation-building courses in college are preferred.  However, if your skills are highly developed through your excellent work history, you are qualified, too.

2.     Desire to work a “permanent” 4-day per week position: Mon, Tues, Thurs, and Fri. No weekends, no evenings! Every Wednesday is off!

3.     Welcoming presentation that models our values towards the importance of oral health wellness and the power of an attractive smile.

4.     Masterful verbal communication skills: Ability to connect, listen, and communicate effectively and efficiently with warmth and empathy.

5.     Leadership skills! This position will serve as our Lead of the Administrative work area.

6.     History of job stability and excellent references.

7.     Computer skills: Fast and accurate keyboarding for efficient record documentation.

8.     Computer aptitude: A mind geared towards technology and eager attitude to fully optimize software.

9.     Excellent written communication skills: Thorough record documentation and polished email and text communications.
