Job Title: Clinical Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Acute Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Must have at least 3 years of experience working as a nurse in an acute or sub-acute facility. License: A valid, current, full, and unrestricted Nursing License to practice nursing in any state of the United States or a territory of the United States. Certifications: - Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association - Complete Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) within six months of hire - National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) completion within six months of hire Must-Have: Ability to work independently in completing assignments. Description: The Clinical Nurse performs a variety of nursing care procedures that require professional knowledge. Consideration of specific patient conditions and treatments is essential. Nursing duties include support for individuals of all ages and their families. Guidelines include physician orders, standards of care, nursing policies and procedures manuals, and hospital policies. Experience is necessary to assess and manage patient needs effectively. Collaboration with various medical providers and support staff is expected. The role involves a commitment to maintaining current certifications throughout employment. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a diverse community.
