Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8-hour days, flexible start time between 6:00 AM and 10:00 AM
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $62 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Screen and evaluate patients with cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning disorders
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care using standardized assessments and evidence-based practice
- Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, and exercises
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as needed, documenting all regulatory and clinically required information
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, caregivers, and the healthcare team regarding progress and treatment plans
- Supervise occupational therapist assistants, rehabilitation aides, and students as needed
- Participate in patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, and required trainings
Qualifications
- 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required (new grads welcome with Level II fieldwork experience)
- Long Term Care or Rehab experience required
- Active Occupational Therapy license in Texas
- Ability to obtain necessary DME or supplies per regulatory requirements
