Through their efforts, they contribute to both short-term achievements and long-term growth.Your Next Pour: The OpportunityThe Off Shift Site Technical Advisor contributes to the success of the Bradenton Plant by providing leadership to deliver off-shift plant operations and production results through coordination with production area supervisors and onsite support groups. Responsibilities include taking action to ensure personnel safety, prioritization of resources for production breakdowns and emergencies, and communication to area owners and drive continuous improvement of processes during off shifts. This position is intended to be a 3pm to 11pm shift, but will vary based on business needs and available coverage.Provide leadership, guidance, and technical support for production area supervisors and support personnel during off shifts to ensure production areas can safely deliver business resultsProvide both electrical and mechanical troubleshooting support for front line employees and coordinate with external technical support when necessary to meet business needsCoordination and communication with oncoming and off going support group leaders and production supervision to ensure effective communication of shift events, priorities and follow up actionProvide technical leadership and coordination of cross functional teams to continue efforts for resolving any carryover production/technical issues or project initiatives from off going shiftPromote and develop a continuous improvement mind set among coworkers for both people and processes by driving for the development of clear problem statements, root cause identification and actionable countermeasuresIdentify opportunities and develop technical capabilities of off shift production supervisors and technical personnelCoordinate with production area supervisors to prioritize and balance available technical support resources for maximum value to the businessSupport business initiatives and projects to improve equipment reliability to maximize production line productivityUtilize visual factory concepts to maximize asset utilization and plant performanceEnsure proper utilization of Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS)Deploy strategies in reliability fundamentals that develop front line team competenciesDevelop front line team abilities to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goalsDeliver effective change leadership while driving business changes and minimizing people impactBuilds people capability through effective employee relations, training, and communication for front-line hourly personnelChampion a culture of safety, quality, and compliance during off-shift operationsMotivate team members to achieve plan goalsAdminister policies and proceduresParticipation and support of plants Emergency Response TeamRegular and predictable attendance at the work sitePrioritize work requests with production area supervisors to balance business needsThis role requires regular presence on the plant floorThis role requires lifting up to 40 lbs. occasionallyThis role requires occasional work in poor weather conditions, including heat, cold, wind, and rainThis role requires off-shift and weekend workThis role may require some travel (less than 5%)Foundational Ingredients: RequirementsBachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience required.Lean Six Sigma Experience preferred, demonstrated by successful completion of a major improvement project.A minimum of 5 years of operations & maintenance experience preferredA minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience preferredDemonstrated technical experience in mechanical, electrical and instrumentation system maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of utilities and/or production equipmentUnderstanding of PLC programing preferredProficient in Microsoft Suite applicationsAbility to give and receive constructive feedbackAbility to lead a team-based approach to decision makingDemonstrated ability to work in a results-oriented, challenging environmentStrong leadership skills with the ability to get results through mentoring othersEffective coaching, facilitation, presentation, and team-building skillsMust be authorized to work in the United StatesWillingness to be onsite daily in the Tropicana manufacturing plant in BradentonTravel up to 5%Perks That Pack a PunchTBG is pleased to offer you a comprehensive benefits package which includes a 401(k) plan, medical, dental, vision, company provided life, STD and LTD insurance.
