This contract position offers a chance to make a direct impact while working closely with a student who experiences absent seizures, yet fully engages in school life—including participation in JV football. Your presence ensures a safe and inclusive environment, especially during after-school activities.

Begin as soon as possible and continue through the end of the school year. Embrace a unique schedule: Monday through Friday from 3:00 to 5:30 p.m., plus Saturday mornings from 10:00 to noon. You’ll primarily be present on or near campus and the football facility, helping this student safely enjoy school events and athletics. Enjoy a rewarding hourly pay of $40–$45.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license for New York
• Prior experience in school nursing or similar pediatric care settings
• Familiarity with seizure protocols and individualized care planning
• Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, proactive mindset
• Ability to be attentive and supportive during extracurricular hours

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 nursing care and supervision for a 9th-grade student with absent seizures
• Remain on campus and near athletic facilities according to the student’s care plan
• Respond swiftly to any medical incidents or health concerns
• Collaborate with educators, coaches, and guardians to update care strategies as needed
• Foster a safe, inclusive atmosphere to help the student participate fully in school activities
