Job Description:

Title: Registered Nurse – Travel

Requirements:

- RN licensure in the state or Compact license

- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience

- Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS

- Experience with high-acuity cardiothoracic and vascular procedures

- Experience with electronic medical record system: Epic

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Provide direct patient care to adults and geriatric populations in a clinical setting.

- Monitor patients' conditions and administer medications as prescribed.

- Assist in high-acuity surgical procedures and care related to cardiothoracic and vascular cases.

- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including respiratory services and interpretation services.

- Ensure compliance with facility protocols and standards of care.

- Participate in the education and support of patients and families regarding health management.

Compliance / Notes:

- Completion of onboarding core requirements and compliance documents is necessary prior to start.

- Pre-approved time off is limited to 1 day per contract.

- If one major holiday falls within the assignment, the traveler is expected to work; holiday expectations increase with the number of holidays.
