Drywall Finisher

ACI Construction Co., Inc. is seeking a dependable and experienced Drywall Finisher to join our construction team. This position is responsible for finishing drywall installations to a high-quality standard on commercial and industrial construction projects. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, takes pride in craftsmanship, and works safely and efficiently in a team environment.

• Tape and finish drywall seams and joints
• Apply joint compound using hand and power tools
• Sand and smooth surfaces in preparation for painting or finishing
• Repair imperfections, cracks, and damaged drywall areas
• Match existing textures and finishes when required
• Measure, cut, and fit drywall materials as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all company safety policies and job site requirements
• Work collaboratively with supervisors and other trades on-site

Qualifications

• Previous drywall finishing experience preferred
• Ability to use drywall finishing tools and equipment safely
• Knowledge of taping, mudding, sanding, and texturing techniques
• Ability to read and follow basic construction drawings and instructions
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor in various weather conditions

Preferred Skills

• Experience on commercial construction projects
• Familiarity with texture matching and patchwork
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
