CT Technologist (Computed Tomography)

Radiology CT TechLocal Rate: Applies to clinicians with permanent addresses within 50 miles (-# to regular and OT bill rates)OSF Call Off Policy: Equivalent of 12 hours every 13 weeks with no penalty or need to pay for the shiftNon-billable Orientation Hours: 12 hours, guaranteed hours will not apply during orientationGeneral Certification Requirements: BLSCerts/ARRT & other specialty certification requirements: ARRT, IEMAHow many scanners/rooms does this department have?: The CT department has 5 CT scanners.Will they have to float/cover any other areas?: NoExperience or 'Must have' skills: Perform basic CT scanning. Level 1 trauma experience, previous travel experience. Need to be experienced and able to function in a fast paced environment with high acuity and high volumes of patients.EMR &/or PACS do they use: EpicDepartment Specific Equipment (GE, Phillips, Siemens): The CT scanners are all GE brand. Do you have experience on GE CT scanners?Do they have to start IV's?: Traveler is expected to be able to start IV's.Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?): This will vary with the position posted. Start time for 3 12 hour nights is 7pm, 3 12 hour days start is 7am, 4 10 hour days start is 8 am.Weekend Requirements: Every 3rd weekend. Weekends for nights is Fri/Sat. Weekends for days is Sat/Sun. We do not require call and no holidays but would be open to it if the candidate was willing.Holiday Requirements: NoCall or Standby requirement?: NoScrub Color/Dress Code: Are scrubs provided?: Solid colors are fine with some prints.Department specific orientation: As needed typically 1 week.
