Position: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Location: Houston County Jail | Georgia Schedule: Full-Time Nights | 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM Rotation: Rotating Schedule Including Every Other Weekend

In this role, you'll provide hands-on patient care, administer medications and treatments, perform nursing assessments, respond to urgent medical needs, and work alongside an experienced healthcare team dedicated to delivering quality care in a safe, structured environment.

What You'll Do

• Provide direct patient care and nursing assessments
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes
• Respond to urgent and emergent medical situations
• Assist with chronic care management
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records
• Collaborate with providers and fellow healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Georgia Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
• Current CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain)
• Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
• Correctional healthcare experience is a plus, but not required
