A housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and organized environment in residential or commercial settings. Key duties include cleaning rooms, bathrooms, and common areas, vacuuming, mopping, changing linens, restocking supplies, and reporting maintenance issues. This physically demanding role requires strong attention to detail, time management, and adherence to safety protocols. 

Key Responsibilities

• General Cleaning: Dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors and furniture.
• Sanitization: Cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms, kitchens, and surfaces.
• Laundry & Linens: Changing bed linens, making beds.
• Replenishment: Restocking toiletries, towels, and other guest room or bathroom supplies.
• Waste Management: Emptying trash bins and disposing of waste/recycling.
• Maintenance Reporting: Reporting damages, broken items, or maintenance issues to supervisors. 

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift/push up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive motions (bending, lifting, cleaning).
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to cleaning to ensure high standards of hygiene and presentation.
• Time Management: Ability to work on a fast-paced schedule and meet daily cleaning quotas.
• Integrity: Discretion and trustworthiness, particularly when working in guest rooms.
• Safety Awareness: Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures. 

Work Environment
The job may require working weekends or holidays and involves, at times, working independently or with a team.
