Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 5 years in the specialty License: Registered Nurse Certifications: ACLS TNCC ENPC PALS CPR-BCLS NIHSS Must-Have: Previous charge experience required Patient ratio experience of 3:1 preferred Experience with Allscripts charting system preferred Trauma Level I or II experience preferred Travel experience required Description: The role requires managing patients with a wide range of emergency medical conditions. Candidates will be expected to perform advanced skills such as intubation and central line management. Experience with trauma cases, including traumatic brain injuries and spinal cord injuries, is preferred. The nurse will provide care for diverse patient populations, including neonates and geriatrics. The position involves working in a fast-paced environment with a daily census of 155. The unit is equipped to handle various emergency situations, including drug overdoses and burns. Additional support is available from respiratory, social services, and pharmacy teams. Strong communication skills and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams are essential. Candidates should be prepared to complete necessary lab items within 72 hours of accepting an offer. Adherence to all compliance and safety protocols is mandatory.
