Material Handler IFontana, CA Temporary/ContractMove forward with Volt!VOLT is immediately hiring Material Handlers in Fontana, CA.The Material Handler supports warehouse operations by receiving, moving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products. This role helps maintain inventory accuracy, prepares orders for shipment, performs labeling and kitting tasks, and keeps the warehouse clean, organized, and safe.As a Material Handler, you will:Load and unload trailers, containers, and shipmentsSort, move, replenish, and organize inventoryPick, pack, and prepare orders for shipmentPerform shipping and receiving duties, including LTL shippingOperate box-making, box-taping, labeling, and packing equipmentBuild and load carts, boxes, and displaysReplenish materials and maintain production flowPerform general warehouse housekeeping, including:Emptying trash bins and balersRemoving pallet debris, plastic wrap, and strapsMaintaining clean work areasThis is a full-time, temp to hire opportunity!Schedule:Schedule A: Tuesday - Saturday 6pm - 2:30amSchedule B: Tuesday - Saturday 6am - 2:30pm Schedule C: Sunday - Thursday 6am - 2:30pmSchedule D: Sunday - Monday (Off Tue, Wed) Thursday - Saturday 6am - 2:30pmSchedule E: Sunday - Monday (Off Tue, Wed) Thursday - Saturday 6pm - 2:30amThe ideal candidate will have:Must be able to pass a 7-year background and drug screen.Must have a HS Diploma or GEDAbility to lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs. and perform physical warehouse workAble to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shiftStrong attention to detail and teamwork skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Pay Rate: $20.00-$22.00 per hour - depending on work schedule selectedBenefits: Volt offers benefits (based on eligibility) that include the following: health, dental, vision, term life, short term disability, AD&D, 401(k), Sick time, and other types of paid leaves (as required by law), Employee Assistance Program (EAP).Volt is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits any kind of unlawful discrimination and harassment.
