If you're as passionate about your future as we are, join our team.KPMG is currently seeking a Lead Engineer I, Data and Information Architecture to join our Advisory Digital organization.Responsibilities:Design and deliver scalable, production-ready, cloud-first solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Fabric, and Microsoft 365 technologiesLead the architecture and implementation of AI-enabled solutions utilizing Microsoft Foundry, agentic frameworks, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and related technologiesDevelop and oversee containerized application platforms using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Container Apps, Istio, and container image management best practicesProvide technical leadership by establishing architecture standards, influencing solution design decisions, and driving continuous improvements in delivery methodologiesEnsure solutions adhere to security, networking, infrastructure, and software development best practices while maintaining reliability, scalability, and complianceCollaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, communicating complex technical concepts effectively and mentoring teams on emerging technologies and industry trendsAct with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environmentQualifications:Minimum five years of recent professional experience in network administration, system administration, software development, information security, or related technical disciplinesBachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, engineering, or a related field or five years of equivalent practical experience is preferred or minimum of a high school diploma or GED is requiredProven experience designing and delivering cloud-first solutions on Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Fabric, and Microsoft 365 platformsHands-on experience implementing AI and modern application architectures, including Microsoft Foundry, agentic frameworks, and RAG-based solutions as well as strong technical expertise with containerization technologies, including AKS, Azure Container Apps, Istio, and container lifecycle managementExperience with Microsoft and Azure data platforms, including Fabric, Power BI, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse, SQL Server, DocumentDB, and Azure Data FactoryStrong communication and leadership skills, with demonstrated success influencing architecture decisions, establishing technical standards, and continuously adapting to emerging technologiesApplicant must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future; KPMG LLP will not sponsor applicants for U.S. work visa status for this opportunity (no sponsorship is available for H 1B, L 1, TN, O 1, E 3, H 1B1, F 1, J 1, OPT, CPT or any other employment-based visa)KPMG LLP and its subsidiaries (“KPMG”) complies with all local/state regulations regarding displaying salary ranges.
