Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established facility protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facility buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor and contractor screening procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be willing to receive required hospital vaccines.
• Be willing to work in a hospital morgue.
• Be able to restrain individuals.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
