Concierge/Receptionist

BallenIsles Country Club – Concierge/Receptionist BallenIsles Country Club located in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, invites a dedicated individual eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast‑paced hospitality‑focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management. We are seeking a full‑time Concierge/Receptionist with proven success in a similar service environment. Successful candidates demonstrate a commitment to quality, productivity, and attentive service to private club members and guests. General Purpose Accountable for the member and guest experience, ensuring a culture of hospitality and teamwork. Ambassadors provide assistance, directions, and service information to members and act as a technical liaison to the F&B Department as needed. Compensation $18.00–$20.00 per hour (depending on experience) Essential Duties Greets members by name with a smile and warm welcome, and bids a gracious goodbye as members and guests leave the club. Answers telephone calls from members and guests professionally and warmly. Directs member calls to the appropriate individual/department following telephone etiquette protocol. Maintains a strong knowledge of the club’s activity calendar and communicates concise, accurate information to members. Serves as an information liaison between members/guests and club departments. Makes member reservations for dining and club activities in JONAS or the current member database, anticipating members’ needs through targeted questions. Creates member and guest cards according to current policies. Takes ownership of special requests and immediate needs, coordinating with departments and following up with members as needed. Maintains a high level of service. Communicates with additional concierge staff to relay daily operations and clarity of information. Accepts member complaints and works with the F&B Director to provide timely, professional solutions. Works closely with other club departments, directors, and managers to exceed member and guest expectations. Inspects and oversees cleanliness and maintenance of all department areas; coordinates with housekeeping and engineering. Promotes a positive team atmosphere with all management and staff. Creates digital signage and directional signage as needed. Follows bylaws and policies set by the board of directors. Completes any other duties assigned by the F&B Director. Has knowledge of support contacts for database and reservation systems. Education/Experience High‑school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Physical Demands Frequently sits, talks, and hears. Occasionally stands and walks. Regularly uses hands, reaching with arms and hands. Occasionally lifts up to 25 pounds. Environment/Noise Moderate noise level. Certificates/Licenses None required. Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences Ability to read and speak English; required for communication with English-speaking customers or co‑workers. Ability to use the internet. Computer and technical skills required. Ability to work flexible hours, including days, nights, holidays, and weekends.
