Hourly rate $20.00- $21.00/hour; depending on experience2 weeks paid vacation after 1 year of FT employment, paid sick time, and 7 paid holidaysResponsibilitiesTest to check systems and components are secure and working properlyIsolate the systems or components that might have caused the problemDrive the vehicle for testing purposes and inspect and refill fluid levels as necessaryEnsure tire pressure for proper inflation, clean and lubricate fittings as neededInstall a new oil drain plug and new oil filter and communicate oil levels to teammatesMaintain efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing as well as repairing vehiclesRepair or replace worn parts ahead of the vehicle's breakdown or damageUse power tools, machine tools, and common hand tools to perform various tasksRequirements:You must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds, to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, etc. for extended periods of time and perform activities that involve holding, grasping, pulling and turning.While we will work to ensure the comfort of our workspaces, you will occasionally work in hot/cold weather conditions because of our open bay concept (weather permitting).You must be able to physically maneuver in and out of a shallow 3' deep pit used to position our technicians safely under our customers' cars.Clean driving record and be insurable under company insurance policy.Able to drive both automatic and standard transmission vehiclesWe are an equal opportunity employer and prohibit discrimination/harassment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
