Responsibilities include preparing accurate cost estimates for reconstruction projects based on onsite inspections, photographs, and mitigation estimates; collaborating with project managers and contractors to ensure accurate bid submissions; analyzing labor, material, and overhead costs to develop comprehensive estimates; maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and local building codes; providing detailed reports and presentations to clients and stakeholders; assisting in negotiations and adjustments to project scopes as needed; and utilizing estimating software and tools to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

Requirements include a minimum of 2 years of experience in construction estimating and sales, strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and costs, proficiency in Xactimate and Microsoft Office Suite, excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills, strong communication and sales skills for client interactions, detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and certification in Xactimate.
