Machinist Operator

Job Posting Primary Duties & Responsibilities Perform necessary pre-operation activities to ensure proper equipment startup and operation on multiple pieces of equipment Perform various general labor in all shop areas Operate/monitor multiple pieces of equipment during operation to ensure quality production and minimal unplanned stops Communicate with team members and support teams to ensure continuous production of the correct product at high quality levels with minimal wasted time and materials Move material by means of forklift and overhead crane operation Comply with all safety and health regulations Clean machinery and maintain cleanliness in work area Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-speed environment, follow standardized work and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment Additional duties as assigned Qualifications Behaviors Preferred: Detail Oriented: Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done well Team Player: Works well as a member of a group Motivations Preferred: Goal Completion: Inspired to perform well by the completion of tasks Self-Starter: Inspired to perform without outside help Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
