Director of Social Work Job Summary: At Elizabeth Park Rehabilitation and Nursing LLC, a leading provider of residential, long-term, rehabilitation, and subacute care, we are seeking an exceptional Director of Social Work to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our leadership team, the Director of Social Work will play a vital role in shaping the social work services we offer to our patients and residents. With a focus on patient-centered care, the ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of the social work profession and a passion for delivering compassionate care. Responsibilities: Oversee the Social Work department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality social work services to patients and residents Develop and implement social work programs and services aligned with the organization's mission and goals Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient-centered care and address social and emotional needs Recruit, train, and supervise a team of social workers and other support staff Develop and manage budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and research to continuously improve social work services Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures Requirements: LCSW At least 2 years of experience in social work, preferably in a long-term care setting Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective teams Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks Commitment to providing patient-centered care and promoting compassion, respect, and dignity Current licensure/certification as a Social Worker LCSW Strong knowledge of social work theory and practice, with a focus on patient-centered care and case management.
