Coordinator, Program ManagementDivision: PediatricsWork Arrangement: Onsite onlyLocation: Houston, TXSalary Range: $47,372 - $55,731FLSA Status: NonexemptWork Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.SummaryThe Coordinator, Program Management supports the Texas Children's Cancer and Hematology Center by planning, coordinating, and advancing professional education and career development initiatives within the Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology. This role provides comprehensive administrative and operational support for educational programming, observerships, and academic engagement activities, serving faculty, trainees, and external partners. The Coordinator ensures seamless program execution, fosters meaningful learning experiences, and contributes to the division's mission of education, collaboration, and professional growth.Job DutiesCoordinates all research and Advanced Practice Provider observers for the Cancer and Hematology Center (TXCH) providing support to up to over 50 research faculty, in addition to coordinating a weekly seminar series with invited speakers, and 6-8 conferences/annually.Manages conference planning and coordination.Coordinates local visits for invited speakers for weekly seminar series and conferences to cultivate relationships amongst TXCH faculty and invited speakersPrepares and process observer requests.Submits expenses for reimbursement.Manages domestic and international travel in the travel management system (Concur).Composes formal and informal correspondence for donors, national and international observers.Performs other job-related duties as assigned.Minimum QualificationsHigh School diploma or GED.Two years of relevant experience.Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree.Prior experience working in an academic setting.Work Authorization Requirement: This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
