Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated Travel Registered Nurse specializing in Neuro MedSurg Acute to join a reputable healthcare team in Peoria, IL. The role focuses on delivering exceptional patient care in an acute care setting, supporting patients with stroke, spine surgery, seizures, brain tumors, and head injuries.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Provide nursing care to patients with a focus on neuro-medical and surgical cases
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary
• Manage titratable drips including Heparin based on PTT
• Coordinate with the charge nurse and house supervisors for optimal patient care
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes
• Participate in unit-specific orientation and continual learning opportunities

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Active IL license or confirmation of application initiation
• BLS (AHA) and NIHSS certifications
• Experience in level 1 trauma care
• Previous travel experience and experience on a dedicated neuro unit
• Experience with heparin drip titration
