Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift: 19:00 - 07:30, 3 × 12-hour shifts per week.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will assess, implement, and evaluate care needed by assigned patients under the direction of a licensed physician. The RN will be knowledgeable about the principles, theories, current methods, and techniques of nursing practice. Utilizing the nursing process, the RN will collaborate with patients, their family members/significant others, professional peers, and other members of the health care team to provide individualized patient care. The RN will direct nursing support staff in delivering patient care according to established standards of nursing practice and administrative policies.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop care plans in collaboration with healthcare team members.
• Implement nursing interventions in accordance with care plans.
• Evaluate patient responses and modify care plans as necessary.
• Direct and supervise nursing support staff in providing patient care.
• Maintain compliance with nursing standards and departmental policies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.
• 1 year of experience in area of clinical specialty is preferred.
• PA Registered Nurse License is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Multi State Compact RN License is required.
