Security Engineer III

Job Description LexisNexis Risk Solutions, Inc. Security Engineer III Help achieve compliance by identifying compliance initiatives, and promote appropriate security policies. Lead the exploration of practical security solutions to address emerging threats and compliance requirements, including design and implementation of recommended solutions. Responsibilities Develop and implement security programs: manage and execute project deliverables, communicate to affected stakeholders including departments within the organization, develop program procedures including guidelines and flow diagrams to be implemented on an ongoing basis, and develop tools or metrics that allow for the measurement of successful program implementation. Maintain communication with peers throughout the organization and security contacts including Business Units and subsidiary locations, survey clients to determine appropriate communication methods, deliver solutions to help raise security awareness, and develop and disseminate information regarding security controls and newly identified risks. Assess and measure security programs to ensure closed‑loop operations, seek out and execute upon opportunities to reap program maturity, and deliver innovative solutions to obtain efficiencies. Utilize tools and develop metrics that allow for the measurement of successful program implementation. Perform other duties as needed. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Security, or a related field required. 3 years of experience in job offered or related occupations required. 3 years of experience configuring, managing, and maintaining security event monitoring and logging within Microsoft Sentinel (SIEM); working hands‑on with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint Protection, including configuration, monitoring, and threat response; with security operations, incident detection, and response using Microsoft 365 Defender and associated technologies. 1 year of experience automating security workflows and integrating security tools into CI/CD pipelines. Location Employee reports to LexisNexis Risk Solutions, Inc. office in Alpharetta, GA, but may telecommute from any location within the U.S. Experience can be concurrent. Compensation and Benefits Salary range for REQ# R115159: $105,000 to $119,400 per year + standard company benefits. U.S. National Base Pay Range: $71,600 - $119,400. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates.
