Position Title Occupational Therapist (OT) Location San Fernando Valley, CA – Must reside within the San Fernando Valley or surrounding areas. Palmdale/Lancaster, CA – Must reside within the Antelope Valley or surrounding areas. Setting Hybrid Model (In-Home + In Clinic Services) Salary and Compensation Base Salary Range: $85,000–$98,000 annually Compensation determined by experience, specialization, certifications, and overall clinical expertise. Estimated total compensation range: $97,000–$114,000 annually. Benefits 9 paid holidays Health stipend Ongoing professional development support Guaranteed minimum hours protection Drive‑time/Mileage reimbursement CEU reimbursement Up to 6 paid weekly hours for documentation and administrative responsibilities Responsibilities Assess developmental progress: evaluate fine motor, sensory, adaptive, self‑help, emotional regulation, and developmental skills. Conduct screenings and assessments to identify developmental delays. Develop individualized treatment goals based on assessment results, clinical observations, and family priorities. Provide direct occupational therapy services in home and clinic settings, supporting sensory integration, emotional regulation, feeding, motor coordination, self‑help skills, and daily routines. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including child development specialists, speech therapists, physical therapists, educators, and regional center teams; participate in team meetings and care planning. Educate and support families by providing caregiver education, modeling, and support; help families understand developmental needs and practical intervention strategies. Monitor and document progress: maintain timely documentation, complete evaluations, progress reports, final reports, and session notes within required deadlines; adjust plans based on monitoring and feedback. Advocate for early childhood development, promote awareness of early intervention services, and support families in navigating developmental and community resources. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Current California Occupational Therapy License in good standing. 1–2 years of pediatric experience preferred. Strong clinical documentation and report‑writing skills (writing samples may be requested). Basic proficiency in Google Docs, Google Sheets, and digital documentation systems. Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and active auto insurance. Bilingual skills preferred. Experience with early intervention, sensory integration, DIR/Floortime, feeding therapy, or caregiver coaching preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. Frequent bending, kneeling, squatting, crawling, and floor sitting. Ability to transition quickly to maintain child safety. Clear vision and hearing for supervision and clinical interaction. Ability to respond swiftly during emergency situations. Operational Expectations Maintain consistency and professionalism across communication and operational systems. Complete initial goals plans, progress reports, final reports, evaluations, request for services documentation, session logs, orientation signatures, timesheets, mileage documentation. Attend bi‑annual meetings and required trainings. Maintain above‑baseline attendance expectations and consistent communication via email and Slack.
