divh2Lifeguard, Fitness Center/h2pThe Fitness Center Lifeguard will maintain the safety of patrons at the Aggie Recreation Center pool. They will be responsible for lifeguarding guests in attendance./ppJob duties include but are not limited to:/pulliMaintain the safety of patrons in and around the pool/liliMaintain a professional attitude/liliCommunicate and enforce all regulations and pool rules in a personable and professional manner/liliCommunicate any potentially dangerous elements of the facility to the Aggie Rec. Manager/liliPerform patron surveillance with a rescue tube from the guard stand/liliRemain alert and use all senses while guarding/liliWork as a team with other lifeguards during special events/liliRecord daily participation numbers and complete daily activity reports/liliBe able to respond to an emergency and contact/activate EMS/liliHandle all incidents in a manner appropriate to your training/liliPerform other duties as assigned/li/ulpMinimum qualifications:/pol start=1liMust hold current American Red Cross Lifeguard/CPR-PR/AED/First Aid Certifications or be willing to obtain certification (Aggie Rec Center will provide Lifeguard Certification Training)/liliExcellent communication skills/liliBasic knowledge of pool chemistry and mechanical operations a plus/liliAbility to work well with others/li/olpSalary range: $11 per hour/ppDeadline: Applications will be accepted until the position is filled./ppEEO/AA/Veterans JOB #-H3308C/p/div
